Helen Macdonald, author of H is for Hawk — winner of the Samuel Johnson Prize and the Costa Book of the Year, now a feature film starring Claire Foy — joins us to talk about grief, wildness, and training a goshawk named Mabel.

Event two · Sunday, February 28
Prof. Daniel Everett, the linguist and anthropologist who lived among the Pirahã of the Amazon for nearly eight years, joins the Interfinity Festival to talk about language, culture, and what Amazonian societies can teach us about the human mind. Drawing on his book How Language Began, he calls culture "the unconscious dark matter of our minds."
